Ok, so here are the facts as I know them...

Within the last 2 months we lost a drone in Iran. We asked for it back and they have offered to send us back a model of it... Do you think they respect us?

Now, rumors are abounding that the USA has asked Iran for direct talks. When the administration is asked directly they respond with some vague non-answer.

If the president and the administration want to have direct talks with Iran they should come out and say it. This is like passing notes in class while trying not to get the teacher's attention. It looks pathetically weak and given the recent attitude with which Iran has acted seems foolish.

But the transparency the president keeps promising has never seemed to materialized and on foreign policy his plans, methods, etc are plain as mud.

Imo it is a sign of weakness. He is not fit for command of our military, this is just the latest weakness he has shown. Remember the bow?

That's right, there are NONE. You can't even have a friend send you a candy bar in the mail from Iran. Good. Fuck Iran. I feel sorry for the people. They are very Western, yet their government is putting them in a dangerous position. Sort of like our situation. GOOD PEOPLE, BAD GOVERNMENT. I know a few Iranians, and they are awesome people. They are angry just like us.

For sure. Imo they should do something about their government though, if they don't stop them a lot of needless blood will spill. It's to bad that the citizens are put in that spot.

Should we be responsible? The Iranian government is picking a fight that can only end in a few soldiers and a shit ton of citizens dead. I guess in your opinion we should just lie down and let them continue to threaten us?

Irans attitude?! Please tell me you're having a laugh...they enriched uranium (which they are abundant in) for domestic power suppl and got fucked with more sanctions so they replied with a threat to blockade a waterway on their border. As for the drone, why should Iran give it back when it was flying in their airspace without permission?

If you stopped swollowing the propaganda hook, line and sinker youd be rational and realise even IF Iran was researching for and got a bomb they could never use it on Israel, all they'd be doing is destroying themselves.

All Iran really wants is for an end to the Palestenian situation and then to be left the fuck alone. If you stopped prodding Iran they probably wouldn't respond with their firebrand rhetoric. Why is it they don't hate China, Russia, etc? Cos they don't fuck with them.
