Iranian Auto Transplant

Hi, im getting ready to bring some iranian autos out doors. I started them outside but have been bringing them in at night. The place im moving them to has good soil, land is right next to corn fields. I plan on digging some nice holes and adding perlite to the dirt. Do you guys think I should add in some good store bought soil? Anything else I should throw in while mixing like some worm castings. This is my first grow, ive been researching as much as possible. Just want to do this right. Thanks for any advice on this.

I have heard that the Iranian is not actually an auto flower by definition. So transplanting may be OK with this one but in general, you're not supposed to transplant autos, they are to be started where they will finish. They usually do not have a long enough life to re-root as normal plants would.

That being said, worm castings and Peruvian sea bird guano will do you right. The Peruvian is pretty well balanced in NPK. If you're in flowering or about to flower you'll want ferts with a PK rating.

Note of caution with corn fields, the insecticide most farmers use is not organic and prob not the best to get on your plants. If they are crop dusting, the stuff gets everywhere, even if you're planted 15-20 feet away.

Thanks for the ideas. Im trying to decide on nutrients. I was told to either go with dry tomatoe food I can mix in with the soil or liqued nutes I can mixin with watering. I want to keep it simple but I can get out to them about once a week if I need to. Would I be better of with the liquid nutes with watering or will the dry nutes be sufficient. If I go with the dry mixin soil nutes would I need to reapply during flowering?

Can anyone recommend a good granular nute. Something I can just go sprinkle in soil once a week. Id like to just keep it as simple as I can since this is my first time. Thanks.

Anyone. Im open to liquid nutrients too. I've just never used any nutrients before. Can anyone recommend a good easy feeding system that would work once a week. Thanks

Hey Stitchy, since you want something simple and easy try Organicare, it's a slow release granule nute that only has to be applied once every 2 weeks. There is one step for veg state and another for flowering. I used it last year and it worked out great...Pretty cheap too.

Some one else recommended putting tomatoe food in the hole and I would be good. Would organicare be better then going with the tomatoe food? If I go with the organicare how much would I need to sprinkle around each plant every two weeks? Trying to figure how much to get.

hey Stitchy, not sure of the exact amount, it says it on the bag but play with it a little and you'll find a good level for your plants.

I started half my seelings in miricle grow seed starter after germination in papertowel. Would I be better off starting in promix. They will only be in cups for about two weeks. The ones I started in mg are fine but if id be better off with the promix then ill switch over with next seedlings. I went with the mg cause it said seed starting on bag now i know mg can be to much for fresh seedlings, not sure about seedstarting mg though. Thanks

If anyone can help that would be great. My seedlings are ready to plant. The promix I have is the big green bale, I think it said all purpose on it.
