I grew out this strain last year and by the end of september at 49 lat on one of the islands along the BC coast, it wasn't finished. I know it's looking great for old mother sativa on his iranian haze thread! He's growing this strain at 45 lat in Canada and his iranian haze looks like it's ready to chop from the pics that I have seen of his grow. But here at lat 49 it's getting there slowly. How long do you guys think it has to go?
I wanted to prove it wasn't just me as a novice...so I thought I'd try them again this summer. But this time, I did it in a dried up bog. Now that the rain is coming in, it's getting mucky. But not bad enough to kill the plants or harm them. I should also add that I dropped in coco and the promix veggie option found at a nursery and hiked that in for each plant. They got only 1 fertilizing of 15.30.15 2 weeks ago and they lived through that okay. I believe that it helped.
The logging roads got closed at certain points in the summer (forest fires) which prevented watering. That didn't matter to my girls though. They were fine. Roots went down and found the moisture they needed. Bogs and swamp grows. I've been converted. It would be so awesome if dr.greenthumbs iranian haze finished for me. Time will tell. I know it's really good smoke from last season as I did get to the small bud stage before cutting it down. I'm just an old stock Canadian. I love that new saying!
