I don't see Israel in bed with Iran for any reason. Also, we are already looking the other way, so there is no need for Israel to do anything really . Unless we allow Iran to go nuclear, then Israel will have skin in the game.

I'm trying to learn more about what's going on over there because the reports are so conflicting. It's hard for me to comment more than what ifs but I'll be reading this thread to see what transpires. Some people here are very well versed on the middle east. I'm not one of them.
