is 17/7 acceptable?

due to the fact that im still in high school and cant monitor or be with my plant/light bulb from 7am-2pm (school hrs), can i do a 17/7 even though its in its veg state as a 2 in sprout? the plant has only been above soil for a few days but has already made decent progress (already showin first 2 speared leaves) i know the recommended minimum is 18, but close enough right? even 16/8 would be fine?

i mean other than slow down the growth rate, it shudnt do any corruption i dont think...

i just get paranoid when i have a light left on in a wooden cabinet etc..

to bud, ganja needs the full 12 of dark, so don't worry about that or anything. but dude, get that shit super safe so if you have to leave it, you can (emergency, w/v). ventilation, heat cords, etc

I run 16/8 when I have to (temps); never been brave enough to go any less than that.

Bro move out get your own spot for the simple fact that if you get busted your people won't get in any shit because of what your doing plus if you could get away with the vegging stage you are going to have more of a problem when they start to bud and the smell has start to get strong

Whoa... is that sarcasm or maturity?!?
Neways, if you want to grow safely, just plant some seeds or clones outdoors in a remote spot. put some moisture retaining crystals in with your organic compost soil (or w/v) and you'll need to come and water it less.
