Can Someone Tell Me If Its Good For Light To Be On 24hrs Is This Gonna Affect Anything Ive Kept Them On For A Week Now Staright And My 2 Plants Seem To Be Growing Well And Rapidly Eventually When They Get Bigger Im Gonna Change The Setting To 18 Hrs Of Light Untill Im Ready For Flowering But I Just Wanted Others Opinions If This Is Good Or Bad For The Plant

Does A Plant Really Need To Sleep At All ?

And If So Why Are Mine Doing So Well On 24 Hrs Of Light Even My Seedlings?

I Don't Know, But I Do Know That Capitalizing Every Word Is Not Only Annoying But Very Hard To Read.

If you like you may keep light on 24/7 all the way untill your ready to flower then 12/12. most ppl do 18/6.i do 18/6 as it costs less. but thats just me.good luck m8

Mr I Can Do That For Half
I have used both 18/6 and 24 hours on and 24 hours on has always out proformed 18/6. I find helathier plants. excelerated growth and thicker plants. As far as cost theres not much as the difference in speeded growth means less days needed then 18/6 light so the cost balance.I use my T8 florescents to start veg then give a larger 1000 watt mh blast for a week or so then add another 1000 watt hps when not using 600 watter dual spectrum setups.Heres a qucik look at some plants under 24 hours T8 light at day 15 roughly and then at about day 25 under the 3rd day of 24 hour 1000 watt mh in transplanted 3 gallon pots from original 1 gal pots. Nothing but miracle grow moisture control soil and plain phed water..

I use 24/0 since I don't want to buy another timer and the plants seem to like it, 24/0 will grow bigger in less time.

I'm sure i asked this question previously as i needed my plants to grow as quick as possible as my flowering room is ready so i have a lag period.

I was told that leaving the light on 24hrs does not really make much difference to the speed of growth i will go back and re-read it.

So if so,

Can i ask it does not matter how long a plant is vegged for but what is important is the developed in relation to a reasonable height and nodes on the plant, even if this is achieved in say two weeks with 24 hrs light, is this right and possible ???
