hi all as title says ive come across a grow tent and am planning on using my 400w hps, i will have a 100mm centrifugal fan setup with a 100mmx500mm carbon filter, also will have a inline computer fan for an inlet at the bottom and a 15cm desk fan on the inside between the plants and light to push away the hot air. Do you think this will be enough to keep it at a reasonable temperature???
is 400w hps too much for a 3x1.2x5 grow tent

you dont need or want a forced intake. negative pressure will take care of that by itself, make the passive intake twice as big approx as the exhuast.

yup, have you considered a forced air cooled hood? My grow area is slightly bigger than yours but pretty close. whats the cfm of your fan? A f0rvrf air cooled hood is something i strongly suggest, without mine being able to keep the 400w from 12-14 inches from the tops was the best i could do, with it its down to 4-6 inches from the tops and it makes a huge difference.

What type of budget are you working with? unfortunately though it seems like your one of out friends from a foreign country. I've only dealt with american hydro/grow websites and stores that didnt ship outside the us. I dont really know anything about the stores over there and what the prices are, wheres the cheapest places are, etc. so i cant help you there like i wanted to. In general when using hid lighting you want the air to be exchanged 3-5 times a minute.

should be plenty left (unless your prices for grow equipment isnt alot higher the in the us,) enough for a air cooled reflector and the fans to cool it heres what ive got, you'll notice that in their descriptions and suggestion they say you only need your air exchanged once every 5 minutes or so, disregard that part. Unfortunetly the site i got my stuff from will not ship outside the u.s.. but look for similar items.
