are you going to keep on topping it while wondering why its so short?
Just trolling the newbie forum?
I'd give this 100 likes if I could.
Just 2 cents here. After topping it should take about 5 days on a rugged plant for the 2 new shoots to start taking over. Make sure you remove entire stem from the old terminal. Leaving it long will result in much slower growth from the new tops.Lowering the wattage on your light will definitely not make your plants larger. If you want your plants to get bigger your going to have to keep vegging. And it looks like you topped it. In my experience it takes the plant 2 weeks to bounce bake from topping and start growing again. Genetics could be at fault some plants will not get large. The more light the bigger the plant will be. Turn your wattage back up let it veg. I wait until my plants show their sex before i flip my light thats how you get the trees.
Greetings, I prune when I see something that needs attention. Could be once a week or 3 times that week. Just don't do a massive defoliation and topping then throw it into flower the next day.K thanks should I retop ? How many times can u prune a plant I've done it once she looked clean than a week later she's bushy again. I was wanting to prune leaves growing towards plant to keep from covering light . Is it a good idea to prune every couple weeks to keep her clean?
i topped already but some guy said that I left a long a long stub when I topped and I wondered if I should recut it shorter or just move onGreetings, I prune when I see something that needs attention.
