is a 20-20-20 fertilizer any good?

im getting ready to switch over from a small closet hydro set up,to a little bit larger set up but im going to grow in dirt.anyway,i read that a 20-20-20 fertilizer is good for the veg period.is this true?if not any suggestions?PLEASE HELP ME!!!

if you have the money... get yourself a good hydro fertilizer like Sugar Peak (veg cycle) and follow the instructions for soil use. i used this and got great soil use, most brands have a 3 part mixtue veg, flower, and micro. just the veg and flow is enought.
