Is a 4x2x6 grow tent ok for 400w hps?

I know 3x3x6 is the best but, would 4x2x6 be ok?

3x3x6 looks tiny.

Heat exhaust will be your biggest issue, I had a 400w HPS in a 4x2x6 tent and it ran pretty hot (mid 90s), now I run a 600w hps, I added a 6" inline fan and I am adding a cool tube this week. My temps range from 82 - 90 the way it is right now, I think adding a cool tube should keep it under 90 for good

Good luck, ventilation will be your biggest expense IMO but I'm hoping the results will be worth it

dude i run a 400w hps in a 5 ft x 2ft x 2.5ft box... with a cool tube... and my temps never get above 82. youll be fine. i personally would use a 600 in that tent. youll need to get some heavy ventilation going for either light though for sure though. oh and a 3x3x6 tent is actually 1 sq ft more space... which translates to 6 cu ft more grow space... it may look smaller but it isnt

thanks. i am going to be running a cool tube too. then i will have an exhaust fan at the top. with an intake vent down low. i think that will be good enough
