Should be fine, I root clones without lights. You can barely make out the outline of my clones, but they're on top of my veg light.

Yep it will work fine. I used to use an LED spot light from home depot. I Hung it above my aerocloner and it only used 13watts of juice. I use t5 now but never had an issue with my cheep light bulb set up

;) Suure. Yes it will be fine, it may cause them to stretch a little but you can always address that issue with certain techniques. What is your primary source of lighting.

for my pumpkin seedlings tht is
Getting ready for halloween eh? :-P

The more light you give a clone, the faster it dies. Try it, I tried all kinds of different shit with my clones before I settled on my routine. Gave myself a 2 month class in cloning, 3x 36 cell trays, took one tray of clones each week under different conditions until I found what works best for me. Dome, no dome, 400w, 50w, 0w, cold, warm, powder, gel, rockwool, root riot, soil, coco, bubbler, cup of water on the windowsill, etc etc.

Good luck man!!! :leaf:

wat did you find to be the best like to root them in
I like easy and simple so I use Root Riot cubes, Clonex gel, and starter trays on a warm surface with no lights and no dome. Sometimes I forget about them for a day or two and they look just fine. Different climates might require a dome though.

Technique... 45 degree cut with a sharp razor (this is key to getting the stem to absorb the most water I make a long angled cut a bit more than 45), scrape off skin around the bottom of the stem, dip in gel and stick in cube. I keep a half inch of water in the bottom of the trays to keep the cubes moist.
