45 at a node upped my cloning rate and ill never go back to not cutting there.
Renfro, do you scrape at all, or just 45 cut?
I scrape. I have noted the roots seem to start there first.
Ambient for the first week and then T5's is how I roll. They don't need much light at all until they're rooted.
I put my fresh clones under one T5 flouro light. Its 6400K at 25 watts, and i do 24 hours of light until rooted. Normally have the light about 20 inches above the clones. With my experience you dont really need a bunch of light.

I feed my clones quarter strength, i feed with Clonex clone and seedling nutrient. I do that for about 2 weeks after roots show then into soil where i feed half strength with veg+bloom.
I really think thats why the node is also good, more "cut" tissue where the node is and has been cut off.
I wait until I have roots popping out of the rooter, then I feed them at full strength, not complicated. Use a pH of about 5.8 since they are hydro at this point. I know a lot of ppl say not to do that but it has always worked just fine for me. Make sure you give them more light after you do this. They need it once they have roots.
