Is a seed from a hermi always a hermi?

I just had a run that was a complete failure because the single seed my friend got from a nug hermied on me during like week three. The dude I got the seed from ran clones I took off the plant under LEDs and he claimed that it didn't hermie on him!!

I personally would not risk this again. You already know the plant has hermaphrodite tendencies.

I ran a pack of Strawberry Goji from Bodhi. Got 8 females. One hermed bad and hit the other normal girls. I got 25 seeds from the keeper female that was best of all 8. I will run them all knowing that 50% plus will probably herm. But if I get that ONE plant it will make it all worth it :eyesmoke:

I just ran a dla 5 x goji og. It hermed about 3 weeks into flower. I picked the balls off and grew it out. Absolutely fire smoke. Got about the same amount of seeds from it, around 25. One of them just sprouted this morning :mrgreen:

Close to 7-8 years ago - I had plucked a seed from an oz of GG#4 I got from the dispensary. Loved the strain so much I ran it and lucked out and was female.

Obviously this was just one seed, but I just wanted to share my experience. Same with a few other strains I’ve adored from the past. Luckily the 4-5 times I ran them, they were females.
