General Organic's CaMg+ is decent stuff. The Botanicare stuff has EDTA in it (BAD).

You may not even need a CaMg supplement. What kind of soil are you using? Tap water?

Nectar for the gods Herculean Harvest is calcium phosphate with chelating acids that activate the magnesium in your media. Beware any calcium or magnesium nitrate products. It's unwise to add nitrates deep into flower.

You can also use horticulture lime and gypsum to add calcium and magnesium to soil.

botanicar has an omri listed line for cal mag huvega (magnesium) and calplex (calcium). I don't see it on their site anymore. but some shops still carry it. other wise epsom salt and kelp meal will cover it.

Technically, yes... But if you look at it that way, so are rock dusts, lime, gypsum, greensand, perlite, pumice, sand, clay, etc, etc...

Worm castings are actually a pretty good (actually organic) source of calcium. If your soil has a healthy dose of good compost and some rock dusts, you shouldn't need to supplement. My tap water is only 30 ppm (VERY little calcium or magnesium) but I very rarely need to supplement it. My soil takes care of that.

I was giving the actual definition..all calmag is inorganic
Think of minerals and things that form salts as inorganic..
Think of organic things as.. death decay food for microbes and things that turn to coal and oil and humus

Water and co2 are both inorganic...saying organic might make you feel better but it means nothing...perhaps you mean synthetic or naturally produced not organic or inorganic

Make your own cal soluble, oven dried egg shell, mason jar of non-distil vinegar add about cup of egg shell, watch it do its cool magic (takes a week), dilute 20 parts water

The word "organic" has taken on a new meaning in the gardening world. Much broader than the chemistry definition.

Well I learned something I was using that so if i quit ASAP I should be okay? Or have I already killed everything in soil. I used it once in my soil
You can top dress with EWC that will bring life back to soil

Im using fox farm ocean foret oganic with white widow auto should i get the cal ag?
coco water is a good source of cal/mag....just wanted to throw that out there. I dilute mine 5:1. Works good. Other micronutrients too...

Side note:
Isn't it comical that rock dusts can be "Organic" inorganics? :) Organic gardening is really a misnomer that should be synonymous with non-synthetics, while in reality, organic has carbon, inorganic doesn't. :peace:
