I admit, it was ok for the first bit but now it's gotten annoying but complaining won't do anything about it.

It's weird. Once you do get in, you seem to be able to stay in as long as you're active. If you aren't active you get the CloudFlare thing. It's as if there is a throttling on the site going on, and only so many can be in at a time. That may not be it at all, and probably isn't..but that's how it appears to be acting to me.
As for the aesthetic and other changes, I agree.

Get RID of that BS "feedback and support" button and tell whichever hosting service exactly where to insert the email addy requirement.

I really cant belive people wanted the likes back... I hate them. I hated them when they showed up, I hate them now they are back, My stupid mouse clicks it way to much. what is with the facebook generations...
