and the weather here on longisland is tricky.... like its 73 degress one day then its like 50 degrees the next day and pouring rain and no sun.

My 17 year old KNOWS BETTER..and would simply ASK for weed before he'd fire up a grow in my house.

Well, what about a friends house or a shed or something of that nature?
i was thinking about a shed... but their to packed out with shit and my parents clean out the shed ever spring (spring cleaninggg) and non fo my friends would want to do that they would only do it all outside but like i said... the weather is just trickey.
any suggestions if i do try to grow outside maybe like if it rains i can put something over it and then i can get a long extension cord and heat the baby up?

i tried growing in my house when i lived with my parents. i was a constant mess everytime i left the house, i would have visions of my mom coming across them. sometimes i was so sure they found em i wold sneak into the house and try and avoid my parents untill i checked on my babies. its not worth the hassle i ended up moving them outside in the new england summer and had a great harvest. to answer your question i had a chest/headboard at the top of my bed. ive seen kids do it in attics, basement drop ceilings and abandoned buildings. my vote is to go whack down a few bushes as far in the woods as you can and set up shop. o and i saw someone grow under there bed. how about that for the monster under your bed?

marijuana grows naturally outdoors the rain isnt going to hurt them.....people grow weed outdoors in canada, i think new york will be ok

but the nights can get really really cold... and im not too sure if that would mess anything up, like if i put a seed out today and it gets about 35 degress tonite, would that do anything or kill the seed?

im growing in a hollowed out set of draws lol. ive nailed all the faces of the draws together and it is like a big door now lol.... cant tell from outside lol.

I can't imagine any way of growing weed in your parent's house without getting caught unless your parents are practically retarded. Shrooms you might be able to get away with, but probably not weed. At the very least, it would be extremely risky. hehe
Plus there are moral implications you may not have considered. It's not totally unheard of for people to have their homes confiscated if they get caught growing or distributing illegal drugs for example. People never think they will be caught, but it's always a possibility. It's one thing to jeapordize your own property by taking a calculated risk, but it's another thing entirely to possibly compromise another persons property without their knowledge or consent.
I am a fan and supporter of marijuana, but I would still be REALLY PISSED if I found out somebody was growing on my property without my consent.

Umm, either don't grow, or get into a rhythm of keeping them out of y our closet. Hell, i've had sprouts and a whole set-up in my closet for a couple months at a time, i just never let my parents into my closet to "get hangars" or whatever. All my clothes stayed on my desk. But iuno, your situation might be diff from what mine was.
