This is the critical period for outdoor grows in the New England area. Outdoor is low overhead but big on labor for a grower like me(over 30 yrs. growing). For instance I had to bring in 200 clones and 60 moms all over my house to protect them from Hurricane Henry, ballbust city folks. From mid Sept to 1st week of Oct we want 70 degrees and no rain or humidity, mother nature dictates when to pull the plug that's the game outdoors, Constantly checking for Botrytis and those little bud worm pricks. Sprayed plants last week w/a comb. of Habanero pepper extract, mild soap, and a little pyrythrin. to discourage the bad guys. Als had to spray the habanero extract all summer to discourage a motherfkn woodchuck that developed a taste for cannabis. Give me 4-5 weeks of good weather to bring it on home with as little drama as possible. For anyone looking for effective deterrents to wildlife and insects just buy a pound of habanero peppers or ghost peppers halve them and boil in a 3 gallon pot, covered (vapors are overpowering), let cool, remove peppers and press them through a sieve back into the liquid, strain through a screen and you now have a powerful, natural effective spray.ccguns
