Thats not entirely true,as long as blabber mouths with zero buying experience with the seedbank in question are around,people love to repeat what "they've heard" so they can have something relevant to post,shit like that burns my ass.

Guy's with no 1st hand buying experience with the seedbanks have no business posting negative comments about anything,just beacuse they heard something does not make it true,the worst part of these seedbank threads is the constant state of turmoil all the seedbanks are surrounded with,mostly from impatient & ignorant children,i say ignorant because ignorance is the cause,if any person is so uninformed as to what the job of the US Customs service is or as to their procedures then they are truly ignorant,not recieving a letter from customs does not mean they did not confiscate the shipment,all it means is that customs did not send a letter,something they are not required to do.
These stupid seedbank threads should be banned from all forums because the bulk of the posters have no sense,they post pictures of the packaging along with extremely detailed descriptions of shipping methods,then others wonder why they got "ripped off",then start bitching in the forums.

The only thing that is more retarded is when people get so pissed about dicussing shipping methods. First of all they tell you how they ship on the site second of all if anyone wanted to see first hand the methods they just have to order something. It's not a huge secret. However I never talk about shipping except to say it was well packaged anyway. If you havent ordered from a bank then putting them down is lame but if you have then info should be welcome. Thats what forums are for.

On the flip side it doesn't mean they were sent either unless you offer some sort of tracking for the package! The "Oh yea I shipped it..." doesn't constitute an actual shipment. I've ordered a lot of seeds in the past few months and I had 2 packages siezed from the same bank BUT he had proof they were shipped. Sorry... that's my luck. Doc could and can offer some sort of tracking but for some reason doesn't. We would be paying for it... not him.
In my opinion when Doc was having problems a LOT of people where not getting their orders so something else was going on over there... again my opinion. Bad employee... bad record keeping.. what ever. There were just to many people not getting there orders.
Second I don't care if on the seedbank it self posts on their website that they ship their seeds in a mini kotex pad!!! I am willing to bet a years pay there isn't a custom agent alive that could look at 10 packages that look a like and pick out the one holding the kotex pad so telling people isn't tipping them off!
BTW I never got seeds in a kotex pad for those who complain about giving away seed bank secrets. If you feel Doc has treated you well then by all means keep doing business with him. As long as you keep getting your orders that's great. In my book one "Oh Shit!" wipes all the "that a boys" out!

Guys,chill for a minute,take a breath & think about internet based businesses for a few,being that i sell on the internet for 10 plus years now i have a tad bit of insight in the matter,an internet based businesses sales rest soley on the feedback of its customers,there is no store front,there are no shops to inspect the merchandise,only the word of mouth from past customers,dont think for one second that these breeders are not getting rich,i'd be willing to bet filthy rich,they need good feedback.
Now stop & think some more here guys,seeds are a friggen dime a dozen,i just raised my 1st seed crop a few months ago & have thousands of seeds & im an amature,these guys are pro breeders with the space to put as many plants to seed as they desire,there is no way on earth they ran out of seeds completely,in the off chance they did run out of some select strains wouldnt it make perfect sense to simple put any ole seeds they had laying around in a package, then mail them out as the seeds the buyer bought,wouldnt that make much more sense than having angry customers writing devastating threads at every mj site on the www ?
Who would even know,sure the buyer would possibly know in 6 months but chances are that they'd never know.
Now lets look at the cost to the seed business vs the money being taken in from customers,10,000 seeds can be raised easily from a single 1,000 watt hid light,the total cost raising these seeds cant be over $300 total,after spending $5 a pop for shipping each order that leaves about $15,000 clear profit from a single 1,000 hps light
Do you guys really believe that an internet based business,a business who's only customers are naturally paraniod & sketchy as hell,a business who's customer base has an average age of being very young men,young men who by the nature of being young are extremely impatient,a business that at the drop of a hat has been accused time & time again of being con artists,an entire industry that has been accused time & time again,in thread after countless thread of being con men,do you really believe that after being talked shit about in countless threads ,from panicked buyers who havent got their order in 3 days,then freak out & slam them with a bad thread,do we really believe that stealing a few hundred dollars from each customer is whats really happening here ?

I don't want to quote this whole message but here goes. You make a lot of points but the only one I really buy into is people are impatient, panic and then scramble to the forums to scream "I ordered 20 minutes ago and haven't gotten my order yet! I've been scammed".
First what they, us, we and them are doing is illegal! No if and or buts! Breaking the law and there is no other way of putting it. Internet business or BAM.. it doesn't matter it is illegal. So with that you have to know there are some risks.
Next you are dealing with someone, that the chances are they are not from your country. In my case the US. It is NO secret that some of the biggest internet scams are from overseas so with the illegal risk and overseas risk it's no wonder people get a bit shakey... this is understandable. When I started looking I was amazed at how many sites there were that sold seeds. When I would email to ask questions I never got many replies.
The quanitity of seeds is not so much the issue as the quality. I could get 10000 seeds but if my shit is crap what do I have? 10000 shitty seeds. I can go to China and buy a Rolex for 9 bucks but it ain't worth the metal it is made out of! That is why we are going to the seedbanks is we want quality seeds and for the most part we get that. Next would be service. Answering emails whether it's a general question or where is my order question. Taking care of the customer to a certain point.
The part of that customs targets one bank in my opinion is bogus. If this was the case NO orders from Doc would have gotten through but it was sparatic. Also if this was the case just look at how many "trusted" seed banks are talked about here on RUI. Let's say there are 20 and I think that is a high estimate. (Remember I said "trusted" on this site). Customs could target 20 very easy and close any packages coming in so none of use would be getting shit. It would be easy to hold all mail and go through it by hand. So what if it holds up the mail ... it could be done if they "really" wanted to do it.
Someone flashing their shit on MySpace! Big deal! Again, if customs thought it was really worth the effort they would 1) scan every freaking myspace page or 2) just get the accounts from MySpace. Both are highly unlikely and if they did it would not be worth the man hours involved unless some 16 year old is running the biggest drug ring in the US out of his mom's basement and posting it on MySpace. If he does get caught and tells mom and dad where he got the seeds what is that going to do. "Ya mom I bought them from Amsterdam!!!" Search for Amsterdam and marijuana...
These types of discussions could go on for days. What I would say to any first time buyer is read the forums to see who is reputable and who isn't. No matter who you buy from you are taking a chance that your order might get siezed, might get lost, or you just happened to pick a bad seedbank and got scammed. Deal with seed banks that give you some sort of tracking so if it is shipped but you don't get it you will know instead of having to rely on the old "Oh sure I sent it...um last week I think" emails.
So if you order for the first time... research... research...research, order and then wait..wait..and wait some more.

I couldnt agree less with the bit on sending out any old seeds. If I order some white widow and its not white widow I will DEFO know about it. I cannot see any seedbank just sending out different strains that you did not ask for.
I do however agree about seedbanks 'running out' of seeds, we all know how many seeds can be produced of a single plant. And if they REALLY have run out then why let you buy them!! How hard is it to put OUT OF STOCK on that particular product?

If you order from attitude or planet skunk, I don't see thread after thread about crap product, only getting half, claiming they got seized with no letter, guess what, when they get seized there is a letter everytime, it is the law.
All that adds up to I'll probably get what I want and ordered.
