It's a great soil, but it's not the best. The best, IMO, is a full organic soil that you CANNOT buy in a store. You mix some potting soil, worm castings, bat guano, some sweat, etc.
Agreed. While not the absolute best, FF OF is a good solid choice for any soil grower looking for simplicity. I use it, with an additional 10-15% perlite added, and it works great. Also, I PH all my water and fert to 6.8, and the soil holds PH pretty well. If I flush at the beginning of flowering, I never have a problem.
promix all day. all organic and easy to control whats in my soil and going into my plants. Make sure w/e u get doesnt feed for like 3months as itle burn ur seedlings
What he's saying is that there is soil available with added fertilizers already in the soil, usually up to 3 months supply. You dont want this, as you have little to no control over what your plant is being fed. The seedling stage is the first 2 weeks from seed, some people introduce ferts at 1/8 strength at week three, some wait to use ferts until flowering. It all depends on what your strain wants. WATCH YOUR PLANT. If it doesnt show any deficiencies, it's telling you it's fine; dont force feed it nutes.
