Yo Polly.....!!

i've had this conversation with federal reserve conspiracists and gold nuts before.
If you want to turn a blind eye to our nation's debt, that's your prerogative, but if you think the U.S.A. is immune to collapsing, then you might want to dust off those history books and have another read.

Germany
Mexico
their debt to GDP makes ours look like nothing. and they're not gonna collapse.

chicken little legend.
Japan has been economically stagnate for over 20 years. What about Germany in the early 1900's? The only reason this country is still afloat is because oil is only bought and sold by the U.S. dollar. What do you think will happen if they decided to change that to the yen?

or it could be our massive GDP, both in raw terms and per capita.

japan hasn't collapsed.
"Rumors are swirling that India and Iran are at the negotiating table right now, hammering out a deal to trade oil for gold. Why does that matter, you ask? Only because it strikes at the heart of both the value of the US dollar and today's high-tension standoff with Iran." Quoted from this article. It's worth reading.

True, but you don`t mention that China is well under way to push Japan into war so they will. How good will a limited USA be ? You don`t do well; force`n a Country Buck.
The USA cannot collapse, it can however slip out of Washington`s hands.

The U.S.A. cannot collapse? Remember that statement when it does.

It`l be "us" or "them" and I have an inclination that most of the USA will say "them"
Wrong! You have to understand how the U.S.A. borrows money. If our creditors stopped loaning us money today, we would collapse. Why do you think we are borrowing money in the first place? Think about it.
