Sounds pretty similair to my homemade bbq sauce,i make my own concoction. corn syrup, molassas, sugar, honey, soy sauce, they seem to love it!!!!
I've found that just by adding molasses it changes the flavor of the buds quite a bit........ it's very noticeable when used late in flowering.
Fair enough, time to start adding some mollasses. I guess you really have nothing to lose!!Blackstrap molasses contains simple sugars like sucrose, and some more complex carbohydrates; these feed microbes which assist the plant in various ways. It also has quite a bit of Potassium (K), minerals and trace elements (Iron, Zinc, Manganese, even Ca and Mg).
The microbial stimulation, enhanced nutrient uptake and mineral availability can certainly help yield and flavor. Any limiting nutrient (a nutrient that isn't available enough) is going to influence yield, etc.
