On my way to work this morning I passed a group of petitioners at the local gas station. They were gathering signatures for the impeachment of President Obama, and had large signs up portraying the President with a Hitler mustache. Now I happen to live in a so called "red county", but I don't think comparing the President of the United States to arguably the single worst tyrant that ever existed is very patriotic. I understand that people have the right to oppose his presidency, but Hitler? Really? I don't think this behavior paints our citizens in a very positive light. Personally I find it revolting. It's not as if he wasn't voted in... Twice. Then again, so was Bush.
You know who should really be offended? Jewish people. That's right. Hitler's just moved down the ladder of repugnant human beings to a more... cozy US presidential status. Nice!
