Is it bad that it stinks

everything ive ever had has "stunk" up the room since the 3rd set of leaves. I hear people saying that theres no smell until into flowering, I just don't get that. I thought it was just my sensitive nose, but I knew it wasn't when my neighbor stopped by and I had 1 baby, about 9" tall, in a closet (door shut) of a bedroom (door shut) in the back of the house and when she stepped in the front door she said "oh my, did someone get sprayed by a skunk", I knew it wasn't just me. lol.

Mine usually don't smell until about week 5, but I did have one once that started around week 3. It varies.

If your plants stink, they are pissed off and you need to figure out what's wrong and fix it! They shouldn't start emitting an odor until well into flowering.
Some basics,,,,,
they don't like the light too close (contrary to what you read in forums)
they prefer a mixed spectrum (blues & reds) HPS alone does not do this though some HPS bulbs have been made to include a bit of blue
they don't like to touch each other
they prefer a balanced nute regime
they don't like negative pressure (caused by sealed environments & fans pushing and pulling)

Seriously? Weed plants smell, some a lot more than others in veg, u are making a lot out of NOTHING.

Well I hope nothing is wrong I am starting my journal later tonight it is on a mh at 3 feet and hasn't shown any previous light stress the nutrients haven't changed in almost a week at 250 ppm and the fan is only on barely enough to cycle air throughout....I leave the tent open so no sealed environment and it's one plant so no touching
