letting it all brew with molasses for 24 hrs?
putting myco in a tea is a waste, there are many, many, MANY verrrrrrry hungry microbes that will quickly eat the myco, not to mention if you don't apply to the roots they don't proliferate anywaysHeisenberg tea recipe calls for mycos by the way dudes.
Have you read about heisenberg tea? So are you saying his tea doesn't work?putting myco in a tea is a waste, there are many, many, MANY verrrrrrry hungry microbes that will quickly eat the myco, not to mention if you don't apply to the roots they don't proliferate anyways
depends on what your goal is.Have you read about heisenberg tea? So are you saying his tea doesn't work?
you could add tabasco sauce to an AACT and it'll still workHave you read about heisenberg tea? So are you saying his tea doesn't work?
exactly!Inoculate my soil and organic media with mycos so I'll just add mycos when I transplant.
I used plant success last time not great white but their green shaker bottle. My teas haven't been foaming much but I think it's because my pump is too small.exactly!
mist roots with a spray bottle after getting it out of the old container, then sprinkle the myco on it.
don't bother with the super expensive kinds, usually they are the wrong f'in kind of myco, or more trichodermas and the like.
this is the one you want.

you do not need froth.I

Do you add molasses for your foliar spray? I added a tiny bit to EWC and kelp brewed for 24 hours then foliaryou do not need froth.
it is not an indication of microbial life.
I have a BIG ass pump, and mine doesn't froth much either, never has, a lot of that is predicated on what type of compost or worm castings you start with
um, well..Do you add molasses for your foliar spray? I added a tiny bit to EWC and kelp brewed for 24 hours then foliar
Great information... in the pnw where I live PM is something you gotta work around. Thanks for your time.um, well..
in the past, for PM I have used compost teas for a foliar spray (worked well by the way)
but again it depends on your goals, I don't use foliars at all in fact.
I don't really use a lo of molasses anymore, for anything really.
but once you get a soil established it's simply not needed.
But short answer would be Yes, for a compost microbe tea or foliar it is needed to give the microbes something to consume to encourage reproductive rates
absolutely, and if PM is an issue I reaaaaally am having great results with using a 10k metal halide bulb.Gre

I've been spraying natria it's soy beans and smells horrible but it works. I'll try your method too!absolutely, and if PM is an issue I reaaaaally am having great results with using a 10k metal halide bulb.
the UV seems to have a sterilizing aspect to it, i'm in california and our storms have been insane this yr, and I have NO pm at all
you need to put the MH inline with your intake fan, and make sure ALL incoming air gets to swirl around the 10k bulb a lil
another option is buying a reef-tank UV setup.
I stumbled onto it, I was running the 10K to beef up the trichomes a lil, and then noticed since I got that bulb that I've had zero PM.I've been spraying natria it's soy beans and smells horrible but it works. I'll try your method too!
Have a t5 light available blue spectrum would that work?I stumbled onto it, I was running the 10K to beef up the trichomes a lil, and then noticed since I got that bulb that I've had zero PM.
for two full grows now, all during the rains
Wow I just installed a 10k Solistek 600w MH in my bloom room yesterday. Had no idea it was a defense against PM; it was suggested by the Rev in last issue of Skunk because it has an enhanced spectrum supposedly better suited for organic soils than an hps or so I've read. The 10k has UV a and b which is supposed to help boost trichome production.absolutely, and if PM is an issue I reaaaaally am having great results with using a 10k metal halide bulb.

There are reptile UV spectrum bulbs/tubes or whatever that may fit your t5 if you can find them. There are ways to brew up a fungal tea but I find it's not necessary if you add it directly to the soil in the hole at transplants. Fungus will take over your container very quickly it's the bacteria that needs to be maintained by giving teas. Fuck Heisenberg; this is the best tea recipe:I
