The dome is only for germinating or clones ... as soon as the seedling is up you remove it... i use one with Rapid Rooters for my seeds

Thats where I failed at by keeping it in there for too long
So it’s not really what I need then to start off from a seed? Or I can still use it without the top... if so... what light would u recommend?? I have a 80watt daylight light

You can start seeds in there in the root cubes you have just take to dome off once they germinate... ive started hundreds of seeds in those trays
What about the light?

Do you have a link to it? 80w is plenty for a seedling but not sure about the "daylight" spectrum... is it an LED, CFL, T5 etc

Your not trying to grow all the way through with it are you? Its really not an ideal spectrum for cannabis, I THINK it will be okay for a seedling but im not sure ... you should always use grow specific lamps for well, growing
No I have a grow light lol this is just for seedlings...

Next time bro use a bigger pot to begin with , just so it has more rooting room To get thick healthy , worse thing to do is keep
Prodding and poking them or inspecting them just adds more stress ... I usually use say 4 inch tall pots for a seed in compost to start with and it never fails me , have a 125w cfl light about 4 inch away from the top off it as well and they always come through fine
