is it dying?

Okay, so my dog decided she didnt like my plant anymore and basically attacked it...that was a couple days ago. She bent the stalk it two different places and as far as I could tell didnt break it, just bent it. I've got it taped up to a metal rod for support and now the leaves right above where it was hurt are starting to turn yellow...is dying or is that just natural for the plant to do this for healing purposes?

What stage are you at (veg or flower)? If it is veg she should be OK, you don't need the tape. Bending it is similar to super cropping, so you'll find some new branches forming from the bent areas (VEG STAGE ONLY!). As far as the yellowing leaves, just trim them off (cut them, do not break them off!!).

Good luck!!

Okay, so its been about a week...I took the tape off to check on how well she's healing..in one spot she's doing fine, but the other looks like its only half healed and it has a weird white-ish, yellow blob looking thing (lol Idk how to explain it) right where the stalk was bent. So does that mean its healing? The leaves right above are worse, very yellow and curling up so should I cut them off or...? I really hope this plant makes it, its already budding alittle and I'll be soo freaking mad at my dog if she killed it lol Any help at all from any experienced growers is greatly appreciated :) I'm trying to get the hang of this

put some honey on it and wrap it in burlap until someone with experience can help you but chances are the plant will be fine and will develop a knuckle right there.

Your plant should be good 2 go. It'll slow growth a little until it heals, and if its just a couple leaves dying then no biggie. Chill back and let her do her thing ;)

If its in late flower i dont think itll knuckle up. Id think it would stay pretty broken but with a good duct tape bandaid it will be fine. Keep support on it and be gentle on her. She should be fine leaning against a wall for the home stretch.
