Is it legal for cops to lie?

I believe it is legal for cops to lie but not for me.

Silence is good.

What happens if I politely refuse to acknowledge that I understand my Miranda's?

Do I still have the right to a lawyer?

Can a bad cop be a good guy?

oh yes it is. not only that but when and if you go to court and its your word against the cops they usually tend to go with the cops (personal experience)

When a cop confronts you, calmly look at him and scream "I know nothing!...NOTHING!" J/k don't do that. What you should do is check out Flex your rights on utube and you will gain good solid advice on how to deal with cops.

I studied law but I still get belligerant and pissed off when they pull me over and 'NO!' becomes my favorite word. With "Stranger Danger!' as my montra.

"JESUS CHRIST! It smells like Bob Marley's ass in here! You kids been tokin' the Reefer or what!"

A stand in cop?

Do they have to do stand up . . .

testimony?
I got pulled over doing 75 in a 55. I was drunk w/ a friend who ws sleeping. I lucked out and he was outta breathalyzer whatcha-ma-callits. I also got around his sobriety test (which was amazing). I ended up with around a $350 + $25 seat belt ticket in fines. I bent over and took it like a man. I waited as long as possible to fight the ticket and than sent it in to fight it. Low and behold the state tropper didn't show but he had another cop representing him in court. That cop read the events of that nights and I made up my own story. I could tell the judge didn't believe me. I told her this is my first offense and she actually asked the cop if that was true! For some reason he had all my info and said that I was being honest. Lucky me! I got outta my tickets and try not to drive sh1t faced at 2 am any more. Sorry for the story.

I actually enjoy fighting the cops like that. Worst I could do would be a couple nights in one of those jail cells.
Ya the brain is the most dangerous weapon. The best thing to do is keep quite and jst wait for a chance to speak with a lawyer. It sucks esp when they are violating ur rights, but in the end they'll regret it.

i dnt know how it is where u r but where i am if the cop that gave u the ticket or whatever dnt show up they drop it
In New England, they won't drop shit from their ass. Every ticket is $$$, they hope you won't take the time off to fight it, so they can cash in.
