is it ok for a couple minutes off on lights?

my plants are going 12/12 i have it set so that it goes off at midnight and back on at noon, but i don't have an automatic timer its just me plugging the light in and out, so i was wondering if missing the turn on or turn off time by a couple of minutes is harmful and therfore should i invest in a timer, also my light dosnt have a switch on and off, just the plug so does taht work with timers?

it isnt harmful because theyre getting the full 12 hours of dark rite? wally world has timers for like 8 bux. easier on our short term memory, u know pot heads forget shi... wait what was i talking about? im hungry...

a few minutes does not matter...

but just buy a timmer cause what if you are stuck in traffic and cant get home?

No, a few minutes is not going to matter. Does the sun always go up and down at the same time? Is it ever cloudy blocking the sun reducing the light?

for sum reason i thought timers were expensive.... so yes i will go out and buy a timer, but does anyone know if it matters about the switch

my light doesn't have a switch on and off i just plug it in or unplug it

Ya, that's what all of the timers do. They are designed for whatever is pluged into it to remain on and it controls the flow of electricity, on/off.

yep timer FTW just make sure its like a digital one so theres no random f ups cause i find the pin timers are pure garbage and f up
