Is it ok to start feeding my clones nutrients?

I have 3 clones that I've had for about a month now, and I transplanted them and gave them superthrive to prevent shock 2 weeks ago. They've doubled in size in these 2 weeks and I think they're ready for nutes, but I wanted to check on here to be sure. I'm going to be feeding them maxsea all purpose, which is a water soluble seaweed nutrient mix (I'll post the link so you guys can check it out). It says on the instructions to feed them one heaping tablespoon in a gallon of water for intermittent feeding, so I'm going to feed every week and a half.

Start with 1/3 or 1/2 dose and see how she reacts.

I've been advised not to give plants nutes until they have 3 or 4 nodes, which it looks like yours have. I also keep hearing to start out on 1/4 strength nutes at first to see how the plant responds.

Just my two cents, my little guy is teeny tiny (like two weeks old, plus its growth was stunted by over watering for a little while) but I already gave him some water that had about 1/15th of the directed concentration. It might be too small of an amount to even make a difference, but my plant has been doing a lot better since I started feeding.

Of course, there were factors other than the over watering, such as poor soil and improper photoperiods that were also contributing to my plant not doing well. These have been corrected mostly, so again I'm not sure if my nutes deserve the credit or just the better conditions (most likely conditions, but the nutes definitely haven't hurt it)

BTW, fwiw I'm using organic nutrients (I think) by Aurora, the Buddha grow formula. Its an 8-1-6, I haven't heard of anyone here using it but I liked the label and figured what the hell. I'm also using Epsom salts and ordered some calcium nitrate.

i got some rooted clones form a buddy of mine, NL13. i top dressed the solo cups with FFOF and watered a week after getting them. they LOVED it. i have a technaflora recipe for success nute kit (free, thanks again vendor), but kinda like the FFOF nutes for the time being. im going to be moving them from solo cups to 3 gallon containers with FFOF prob this weekend. in my FFOF i added 1/3 bag of perlite per 1.5cu' FFOF, and 6 cups powdered dolomite lime to help ph balance. no other nutes for 3-4 weeks or untill any nute def is showing.

What do the directions say? 1 1/2 tablespoons or teaspoons? Per how much (how many gallons of water)?

The directions say 1 heaping tablespoon in a gallon of water every 7-14 days for intermittent feeding.

My clones get the same thing they were getting when I cut them off the mother plant.. They were used to a tsp per gallon when they were still a branch so that's what I continue to give them.. Just don't drown them. Different story for seedlings.. Go slow..

I just fed them 1 heaping teaspoon in a gallon of water. I'll probably feed them this amount 2-3 more times and pay attention to how they're reacting before moving them up to the full amount.

OK, how often do you water? If you only water every 4 days or something then that might be fine, just pay attention. If you're like me and you have fast draining soil and water every other day or so then maybe just straight water in between the first two feedings. Not all of the nutes (or even all of the nitrogen) in a lot of nutrients aren't entirely water soluble, it should say on the label somewhere. Usually most of it ISNT soluble, so it could take a little for the plant to absorb them, so just pay close attention, and don't get too hot with them. The more I learn the more I realize less really is more with this plant.
