Don't touch them unless you absolutely have to. Every time you do, you burst some of the trichomes, and the good stuff that was in them just evaporates in the air!I was just wondering if it was ok to touch the flowering buds? I sometimes touch them when I am LSTing the plant and Sometimes I touch them just to check the firmness and feel how sticky they are getting. Does this effect the plant at all? Will pushing down on the little hairs (The Pistils I think they are called) do any damage? This is my first grow and im in there like every 5 minutes. I just dont want to do anything that I will regret!!

Hard to say, could be. How far in are you? I think they start turning colors anywhere from 3-6 weeks into flowering. But then it could be, so now ya know, no squeezing the charmin!Damn glad I asked. I did notice that one of the buds I squeezed Acouple of days ago has red hairs now instead of white and I know it isnt ready for harvest. Was that because I messed with it?
