Is it ok to use a lot of ph up?

Hey guys, I was wondering if it would be ok to use a lot of ph up, after I add in all my nutes? I use a 60 gallon res to water my plants(soil) but after I add in all the nutes my ph goes down to about 3.1, I put in about a tsp but it moved up only about 0.1, I'm afraid that if I use to much it might ruin the mix or be bad for the plants. Is there a certain way I should add the ph up?

Another question, if the ph of the nute mix isn't right that means the plants wont eat correctly right? but if I corrected the ph of my nute mix and the nutes turned out to be too strong, wouldn't that mean my plants would overdose since I wasn't able to notice before because my ph was very low?

Hopefully I'm making sense, I've been reading a lot on how important ph is, so thought I should give it a try.

a tablespoon is not very much ph up for a 60 gal res even with ro water. you cant use to much if you ph ends up 5.5 - 6.3 your good.

oops you said soil so ph is best around 7 i think. why in the world would you have a sixty gallon res in soil? only water when the soil has crust on the top and kinda dry. you must have a big operation i would think.
