Is it OK to use Alfalfa Tea in week 6 of flower?

Im midway through week 6 of flower right now and have an Alfalfa Tea brewing. 2 cups alfalfa meal in 5 gallons water and 1 oz molasses aerated. Want to get the growth hormone Triacontanol to the plants to enhance bud growth. Wondering if it is a bad thing to give them alfalfa tea this late in flower? The plants have about 3 1/2 weeks of flowering left before I harvest. Any comments or suggestions welcome, thank you!

Also have a compost tea brewing ill be giving them at the same time. 5 gallons water, 2 cups Malibu compost, 1 1/2 cups Black Gold EWC, 1/2 cup Denali Alaskan Humus, 1 oz Molasses.

no don't use it past week 4 of flower.
You know that's what I thought as well, but i'm having a LOT of trouble verifying that it effects flowering in any way.
Do you know of any articles of scientific studies or anything regarding that?
I spent like 6 hrs reading all these studies regarding triacantrol or however its spelled... nothing regarding any adverse effects towards flowering?
I am not arguing just saying I wasn't sure if that's a propagated internet-myth or not? Where did that come from?
Anybody know anything about that?

I use alfalfa/kelp tea all the way up till the end. Nothing bad happens. I don't know for sure if the growth hormone increases flowering, but the alfalfa is great for N. Some people don't like to use much nitrogen during flowering, especially the last half. These people would probably advice you not to use it.

Personally, I've always had better results when I keep my leaves green tho.

2 cups of alfalfa sounds like a lot. I usually use 1 cup/5 gallons, then water down that solution before I use it.

Ahh, well those that don't feed nitrogen until the end don't understand the plant fully. I've gotten in a couple good arguments about that one... you need nitrogen at ALL stages of growth....
But I digress....
My question was pertaining to tricantanol delaying flowering or extending it, that's what I have read on a couple forums but had tons of trouble finding where that originated from... is it purely speculation?

depends on strain really. 9lb hammer doesn't like too much n. Cootz had a whole sientific reason to explain why not to use it past 4th week. It has to do with the triacotanol . i can't seem to find it. It may be on ic rag too

Ok, maybe alfalfa is not the ideal flowering N source, but triacantanol(?) won't poison your plants over night. I don't want to contradict more experienced, better informed growers.
