is it okay to let water jug w/ nute mix sit for a few days?

it is such a pain to fill up all my water jugs, and measure my nutes in with them. I was wondering if it would cool, or problematic to fill my jugs, with nutes, a day or 2 beafor i water? i only use advanced nutrients sensi grow part A and B, for my nutes. I am just worried about letting the nutes sit for 2 days in the jugs in my grow room. Of course i will shake the jugs furiously right beafor i water, but can anyone give me some insight on this?

You should let your water sit at least a day anyway, if you're using tap water. This will dissipate any chlorine and some additives from the water. If you're using distilled or purified water, you can still let it sit a while without damaging the water's solubility and nourishment capabilities. I let my water sit at least 2-3 days, it won't harm the water if left up to 4-5 days. I do the same as what you're asking about. I Ph the water before adding nutes so I know the water is neutral Ph'd. Then I add the nutes so I don't have to take the time to do it at each watering. I have a good supply waiting to be used. should of specified i use well water, that is pumped from this property, excellent water, way better then tap....should this b e okay then? the water is always at a ph of anywhere from 6-7 usually 6.5. would this be okay?

Well water is perfect for use in gardening, but your Ph level is too high. Get some Ph lowering product. There are a lot of sources for it, but I don't recommend using powder forms of it. Liquid seems to work the best and ease of use too. Your Ph should be around 5.5, but it can vary a little, but once your Ph is adjusted, don't change it until next grow unless you're having nute problems, then you may have to experiment with the number. If I'm understanding smokinskins :?:(a little difficult), it IS a fact that sitting (not setting) water will dissipate at least the chlorine in tap water. If you want to verify, go to FAQ's to make sure. I'm not the only one that recommends it.;-)

P.H. is best at 5.5?? maybe i am wrong but i have always heard that 6-7 P.H. is fine, and all of my past grow the water has always been in the 6-7 range with excellent results.

6-7 is proper but as i found adding nutes will drop it considerably

i use humboldt nutrients and they recommend letting the mix sit for 24-48 hrs to allow the biological components to get working.
the mix will also pretty much ph balance itself if you let it sit for 72 hrs.
i think this is only for the humboldt lines though.

i ph my water then add nutes...then water the plants..if my nuted water sits for 3-4 days..the ph raises..so after letting your nuted water sit a few days check your ph..if it's fine your good ..but i think your going to see a fluctuation..the nutes are still good but the ph isn't...hope this helps..peace

5.7-5.8 after that and before that, theres nutrient lockout...even though your plants may do well at those specific PHs your getting all your moneys worth in terms of nutrient uptake ans eventual yield...Good can always be better...I've read this in Hydro mags and also have heard it from experienced growers...IMO....

funny... i rock 6.0 ph in coco w cns17 nutes and if green plants mean lockout ...mine are very locked .

Its likes a little PH drift, most people run into more problems trying to keep their PH right at 5.8, a little fluctuation is good

All the books I am reading say ph 7 is right. that proves out on the chart posted for nute uptake.

Am I wrong? Newbie here on first (very high tech) grow so all help is welcome

BTW...any good threads on complete nute sched? Seedling through flower? I bought a bunch of Humboldt stuff from an ex-pat and really have no idea than what the nute company says and THAT I know is off...for our plants anyway

i ph after i add nutes i start with water that has been ph'd already

for soil good ph is 6.3 to 6.8 i like to look for around 6.5

good luck
