is it okay to put your plants into a bigger pots at 4 weeks of flowering

Im at 4 weeks of flowering, i was thinking about putting them in bigger pots, they will be going from 3 gallon to 5 gallon pots..

is this a good idea, knowing there 4 weeks into flowering....will anythinhg bad happen....

also...if i was to do it, they will be put in fox farm soil, which is high in nitorgen, will this affect them since im feeding them bloom nutes made by hydroponic...

somebody please tell me through experiecnce what i will be facing doing this....

Hi Johe,

I think al ot depends on your experience with transplanting. 4 weeks into flowerig is pretty late in a plants life and unless you are having a severe root bound issue...

My biggest concern would be that you might put the plant in shock when transplanting and ruin a plant that was sooooooo close to fruition...

Why? Why do it? Whats your reasoning?

Bear in mind root growth pretty much comes to a halt after the second or third week of flowering. So what would be the point of putting them in larger pots, apart from stressing and shocking a flowering plant?

thanks for the info guys.....

the only reason why i wanted to do it is because i thought i would get bigger buds fron doing it...i keep looking at pics and videos of these monster buds ON THE the internet....i also notice there using really large pots like 5 gallon and 7 gallon pots....i absolutely dont have any problems with roots or anything my girls are doing great, i just wanna acheive fat buds....WILL I GET BIG BUDS OUT OF A 3 GALLON POTS???....
