Is it possible for Trichomes to passover the cloudy stage and go straight to amber?

Is it possible for Trichomes to passover the cloudy stage and just go from clear to amber? I do not have a great microscope so it's possible that I haven't seen it but all the trichomes I've observed have been either clear or amber looking, and generally I've heard that they are meant to go cloudy first and of course that's the best time to harvest. In this situation, I don't know what to do. Thank you.

When trichs go amber they have degraded. The reason why people wait is to make sure the rest have at least turned cloudy.
Sounds like you got a problem.

I agree, they don't look amber to me, they look clear. Do a search on trichomes for pictures of some real amber ones.

The amber ones will look kinda like snail eyeballs. In my experience they start with an amber drip right in the middle and then change from there.

Thank you everyone!! It makes a good deal of sense that it is an issue with the lighting of the microscope since it is really old and mostly when I obverse them they are clear. Thank you again! :)

When they start going amber, some of them will still be clear. They do not all turn milky when the amber starts. They will mature faster at top of plant and on the sugar leaves. I wait for some amber to show on the bud calyx in the middle of plant.
