Is it possible my plants thrive better at higher temps???

I have been vegging some bag seed for about a month now in a spare bedroom. When I leave the door open, which is 95% of the time, the temps never go higher then 82 but a low of 77. However, when I CLOSE the bedroom door, it gets upto 86 in the room and the plants always seem to grow more when they get upto 86....

Maybe its because when I have the door closed and they get upto 86, they experience about a 10 degree temp change rather then a 5 degree change. Only thing I could think of....

What do you guys and girls think?

I did a closet grow once where the temps were above 90 at almost all times except night, the plants grew fine. Wouldn't say the grew better but they grew...

If you supplement Co2 or have a higher concentration in the room then normal that would cause this. Also as mentioned genetics play a role, beyond just simply sative and indica but actual genetics. Thats one reason people always talk about learning their specific plants so they can learn aspects like these.
