Is it possible that a stressed female plant could show just one male preflower on a lower node and not be a hermie and go on to be a full on female?

I am growing purple haze auto from seed that is still in veg and just starting to show preflowers. This plant has been stressed a bit, for example the plant lost a bit of root mass during a transplant and was exposed to high light levels as a seedling as well as being topped and having the bottom 3 sets of branches pruned off. The first preflower to appear was at the fourth node and it looked to be a single male preflower, (which I removed) but the next node up is starting to preflower with female calyxes. Is it possible that the plant could go on to be a female and not grow any more male flowers? Or is it more likely that it will continue to be a hermie?

It is possible it will be a female-
Keep a close watch on her.
That is good news. I have fixed the environment and the plant seems to have recovered from the stress, growing vigorously now. I am keeping a good eye on her. If I do spot another male preflower, I will pull the plant from the tent. I just started to germ a few more seeds just in case, thank you.

I'm not sure if this applies to autos, but stress won't cause a plant to hermie while in veg.
I understand what you mean, This is my first time running autos. I usually put my photos through a lot of high stress during veg, I usually mainline most of them and never had one hermie on me. Is it normal occurance that a female plant could just put out out one male preflower? These are supposed to be feminized auto seeds.[/QUOTE]
