i saw a power inverter for $300 - it's a 5000/10,000 power inverter. does this mean one can grow using a battery?

is this feasible?

Anything is possible. BUT you'd have to constantly charge the battery, which wastes energy, and using that inverter wastes energy, and all said and done, you've waste a lot of energy converting 120?AC to 12?DC then 12?DC back to 120?AC. Short answer though is yes you CAN do it, but your going to waste a lot of energy in the process.
Why would you want to do this anyway?

Just make a windmill to run a delco alternator and use that to charge the battery, add some more batteries and bingo, you grow free :)

1.) can't use more than 600 watts at current place.

don't mind spending extra money if that means i can use more juice and charge a battery at another location.

what do i search for? what kind of battery? is an inverter 5000/10,000 what i'm looking for?

I would think it would need to be a deep cycle battery since its always going to be drained then recharged alot. That would wipe a normal car battery out soooo fast.

If you have the money it will work fine, but emphasis on having money. I wouldn't be surprised if it would be cheaper to buy at club prices versus growing from a battery.

Two very important things, first batteries are EXPENSIVE (a good deep cycle battery is $100+ a piece) and your going to need quite a few to do what your thinking about. Second, why can't you use more than 600W where your at now?
