I have done some outdoor grows in the past and thought I would like to give indoor a try using CFLs. The area I have started with is about 11 cubic ft with ebb & flow hydro and six-105w 6500k full spectrum CFLs on a 24hr on-cycle for the vegetation period. Based on the spec sheet for the lights this would provide about 30,000 lumens. I plan moving the plants to a larger area and changing the bulbs to 2700k for flowering. I have been looking at the various setups on this site using CFLs and for the most part all seem to be providing considerably less light. This started me to question if I was overdoing the amount of light, I was providing. I have attached two pictures of my set-up, one with the lights on and, the other with lights off. Any thoughts or suggestions?
