Is it possible to move indoor plants outdoor?

I'm having trouble with space I have for plants in a small cabinet and was thinking of moving 2 of the plants outside on my balcony. I was thinking of putting them out doors for 12 hours to get sunlight and then bringing them inside for the other 12 hours of Darkness. Is this possible? Any help is appreciated.

Damn buddy. I'd either upgrade that cabinet. Or move them all outside. They've got no room to flower in there.

And yes. You can move them outside. A lot of growers actually start their plants indoors and then move them outside when the weather warms up a bit.

I've recently had to move one of mine outdoors. As the area was too cramped like yours. But on a horizontal plane. Not vertical.

Just a hint for next run. Look into training methods like Low Stress Training, Manifoldinding and Screen of Green.

I like to manifold and lst one plant to a very wide. Low canopy. And then flip them to flower once they've either filled out horizontally enough. Or they're about 2 months old. Minimum flip age is about a month. Anything less and they may not be ready. Or yield all that much at all.

Quick question though. What Kelvin is that light? And how many watts?

Thanks for the quick response man. Its a 2700k 200 watt cfl. Hey can you check my pics out do you think they would fit like that just with two in the box or do you think it's still impossible?

Yes

I moved one outside because it wasn't autoflowering and it's doing great. You may need to transplant into a larger container or into the ground

No need to worry about bringing it in and out, assuming you are north of the equator. They will flower with natural light soon enough.
Thanks. I'm in Los Angeles California and it is hot as shit outside summertime. it gets light around 6am and night around 7-8pm. Should I keep them directly out the Sun or does it not matter I'm currently keeping them at a 74 degrees temp.

Slowly harden them off. {ie. set them in the shade for a few days, gradually giving them more direct sun} A week should be enough time. Here is a link to your length of day. You are at 13 hours 42 minutes today. That is 12 minutes longer than me. Most of my older plants are already in flower. But strain will determine exactly when they start for you.

As long as the plants have plenty of water, high temps are not an issue.

Good luck.

Nice man, you're going to do a lot better with those ladies outdoors. I wouldn't even worry about bringing them inside at night though. Considering what time of the year it is and you said you're in Cali you should be good to go, they'll flower no problem. Just a quick tip though, clay pots are one of the worst pots to use outdoors. They get extremely hot when in the sun. If possible I would put that in something else but to each their own. Good luck!
