I’ve only done it pressing flower into rosin, but if you use parchment paper, it should work the same—I’m only guessing here, though. The yields weren’t spectacular, and I couldn’t control temperature, but it did work. Just press small amounts at a time and it helps if you use a c-clamp to apply the pressure as the straightener gets hot when holding it down like that. I did it this way with flower a few times before I decided to pick up a cheap rosin press. The toughest part was trying to keep the flower from slipping out the side (I didn’t have bags yet).
