Here is my new light. I was told it was a1500watt led light that can adjust from 5% to 100% if that makes sense. I dont get watts and the lingo that goes with it. My plant is new, about 6 inches tall. How close/far should light be from canopy and how high should wattage be for new plant. This is how small my buds turned out because my light sucked so I'm hoping this new one works way better.

Good evening, your light looks like my Vipar 1000W, which draws about 120W actual. For the money it is quite good. No fans and no blurple, plants agree. As a solo light, probly max 32" x 32" tent. Good growin'
what is the brand and model of light? They do par value test on lots of leds on youtube, maybe yours is there. a 1500 watt led would do a 8' x 5' grow space. that lights not that big. find info on the light.
Light is viparspectra P2500 250w high efficiency pro series. Paid $240 for it at a grow shop near me. It should cover a 4×4 area. I think it would work fine for 1 plant. Whats your thought.

Cool, you should be fine. I'm using the P1000 in a 3x3 tent for Veg and it kicks butt. Good luck...

That light covers a 2x4 area, will be fine for a single plant though. Unless your plant takes up the whole 4x4, wall to wall?
