Is it ready to trim?

I got a plant a little over a month old...never had one go this far, but I think this can have the 2 lower branches with the single undersized leaves that are stretching out horizontally, they ain't able to get as much light what with the bigger leaves growing above it. I want to practice LST with this, so would cutting those lower 2 branches hurt anything at this point in the plants cycle?

I usually wait til foing right into flower or a week or two into flower. Never know which branches are gonna decide to take off At this stage I’d just top give it a few weeks then top again. Or lst or both.

good point. Those lower limb leaves just look stunted. They aint gettin a lot of light. Im thinking of the idea of ridding the plant of lower limbs to increase uptake to top of canopy. Then again, i want to do LST for this plant, ...or did!
IDK, never had one go this far before and I keep thinking something has to be done to it and if i miss it ill fuck it up! lol

During Veg you can cut off most anything and it will grow or grow back. The question is what and why...

Defoliating is removing leaves, usually to allow light to penetrate.

Low Stress Training is just as it sounds, bending, tying, gently manipulating the plants for a purpose. Often this is done along with topping to create additional budding sites.

Defoliating will not help you now. LST can be done now to modify the plants growth pattern.

In your situation I would let it grow and ignore imperfections as far as removing leaves now. But.if you want to manipulate it by all means go for it.
