Is It Ruined?

So im making canna butter via a crock pot. I set the crock pot to low and leave my place for 3 or 4 hours. Now i just came back and my trim n butter mix was simmering,not really boiling. DO you people think it got to hot or am i just fine? An ones opinion is more than welcome:mrgreen:

Make some brownines and you'll find out. I think water boils at a lower temp than THC burns (220f vs 350f?) so it should be fine.

Great news every one! The butter was Not ruined, at all. In fact its so strong it burns my throat as i eat it :)

got a quick question... i read up on water curing. Said it takes all the crap out of the bud... mostly smell taste and color. I was just wondering if i water cured the buds first, then made cannabutter from it... it should be clear right? The water should remove all the color and stuff that makes it taste like ass. The reason i ask this is that my dad has emphyzima so he cant smoke any herb i grow... well emphazema combined with crones disease, diabeties, had all the discs in his lumbar region removed, and is on hydromorphone. Hes still in alot of pain and i really think weed is the answer. So anything i can do to make it taste better for him to enjoy is something im willing to try. If nobody has any answers... i harvest in about 3 weeks, ill try it out and let everyone know how it worked.
also getting some white rhino and super silver haze.. first grow with no bagseed... needless to say i cant wait for them to get here
