Ive been to a few here in the states. I only saw one guy get arrested and he was trying to fight a cop. He got what he wanted but it wasnt just one. During the march we smoked it walking right down the street. The cops would give you the evil eye but they didnt bother anyone. Keep it peaceful and be inconspicuous.
Some old hippie kept lighting big fat joints and passing them to me and tell me to pass it on. Id pass it someone else and the bastard would light another. Hell of a good time.

Here in Stanislaus county California we have an event called X-Fest.
It's a fenced in Street party with 8 stages.
We will group up for a band. We then crowd around people to shield them from police sight as they toke!
When they do come it takes too long to get to the sardine who was toking.
The police on horses can see but it takes police on their feet to enter the mass of people.
Start a new trend! Be a smokin' Sardine! Teach your people how to form a mass of bodies that the police have no chance of invading fast!
It's called peaceful resistance.
