Is it too early for nutrients?

A little example... I live in the tropics so i use about 20ml on seedlings if its at or above 80F.

Can you see how dry the outer rim of my soil is? You need the roots to "chase" the water down.20171003_152027 (1).jpg

It is small for two weeks, and 'around the stem watering' is not what I do. The soil needs to be moist. Roots won't spread into dry soil. I started these in 7gal bags. Advantage to large pot is uninhibited root growth. I only do this with fem seeds, though.

This is week two, and week three...

This is FF soil with added perlite, and they won't get any added nutrients until week 7 or 8 (or even longer). I do add a little silica to raise my water PH. Might add CalMag if its needed as I use rain water, or RO, but I'll wait until they show a need. They've been under a 1kw MH since day one, at 30" for week one, then 24" sometime in week two, and now at 20". There's a little heat stress, despite the ambient temp of 70 deg. I like to ride it at the edge, getting the light as close as possible. We had a warm spell where the temps at the plant top went up to 90 deg. Plant top is 82-84 deg with the ambient at 70F. Humidity is a little low at 30-40%. I do relatively light watering at first, gradually increasing. My soil is dry a good 2-4" before I water at this stage.

I agree that your plant needs more light, and less water.
