IS IT TOO LATE TO TRANSPLANT HER?

Hey everyone. I have a Black Destroyer that I started 12/12 from seed. She is 5 weeks old but really is 3 weeks into flower. I was just wanting to know if I could still transplant her into a bigger pot or is it better to just let her finish now in the small pot she was started in?week5 pic7 8-19-14.jpgweek5 pic8 8-19-14.jpg week5 pic5 8-19-14.jpg week5 pic2 8-19-14.jpg

Nice,it's a wee bit later than I would do it but yeah you could tp no prob homie. How big you thinkin?

The roots are prob thick enuff topop right out if you hold the pot upside downand catch it.

ok the pot she is in is very small. I just thinking a bigger pot would give her more room for flowering. I might be wrong on that idea. So what size pot should I use to transplant her in? I was thinking maybe a 2gallon. I do have a 3gallon smart pot. Do you think that would be too big?

Transplanting shouldn't cause a problem, but it also won't have much benefit. Once the plant is fully in flower like that they really don't put much energy into root growth, so it won't really take full advantage of a bigger pot.

oh ok. I will just leave her be since it wont make much of a difference.

be careful and transplant her, spray the roots with water and sprinkle myco on the bare roots, when you get ready, have the container and plant ready to make the "footprint" in the new container, that way the plant won't be disrupted. I highly recommend transplanting, that pot is too small, and the buds will reflect that, if you are careful you won't shock it too much

I disagree, in my experience, even during flowering the plant does indeed grow a lot of roots, especially if you give it some myco

so if I transplant her into a bigger pot. The buds will be bigger? Thats the only reason I was thinking of transplanting her. Just so she would have more room for roots and maybe bigger buds. If it dont or will not work that way. It might be better to leave her alone and let her finish.

I'm in agreement with this. After stretch (first three weeks), the plant doesn't really grow much. Personally, I wouldn't disturb it (although it can be done with no ill effects unless you damage it somehow).
