Is it true you can force a male into female?

I have been told that if you find you have a male plant that you can force it into becoming a female plant by snipping off it's pollen sacs..is this true or no?I can't seem to find anything on the subject and I did look at a lot of the threads before I posted this because I don't want to waste anyones time...but I just couldn't find anything.:confused:

It sounds like whomever gave you this advice was confused. Some female plants will hermie slightly, throwing out a few pollen sacs here and there. I've heard the clone only strain Renee will usually hermie like that. If that happens you just pluck the pollen sacks, but that isn't turning a male into female.
