Is Jorge Cervantes wrong in the Horticulture Grow Bible?

I found two things that are kinda wierd about his preflower section. Last year I posted a thread about small little nubs at my internodes, I asked if they were female preflowers and didnt get but two responses I think. Any way 3 outta 4 were fems, but this year I found a pic in the Grow Bible saying these were male preflowers. Just tiny petrusions from the internode. If you have the book it's page 64. Have yall seen these?

Also,he says never induce flowering before your preflowers show, but people induce floweringto get the preflowers. Is this just him being super pro?

dude Im not sure but I have a problem right now trying to figure if and how this is a male from a feminized seed...could you take a look?

from page e64 you have to be a genius at growing to see them that young. Jorge is never wrong!! j/k

I don't have this book, so this is an indirect response. Keep in mind that dudes like Jorge Cervantes, Ed Rosenthall, Greg Green, Logan Edwards, and others who put out growing guides are all individuals. These guys have done a good thing by making this kind of information easily attainable, but in some respects they are still providing opinions based on their own experiences.

It could be easy to confuse a pic in front of you with a memory from a year ago.

changing light schedules won't induce a juvenile plant to mature any faster, but putting it in 12/12 early will ensure that it begins the flowering response as soon as it is mature enough to do so.

He made an error in one of his videos that cost me dearly, he said if you get hermaphrodites, just cut out the male parts. WRONG ANSWER. result, my crop was about 70% seed by weight

He also said, "never put hydroton at the bottom of your soil pots" but with NO explanation as to WHY?

He's helped a lot of people, but I'd take him with a grain of salt the size of a Volvo.

BurninJay you got a good point, maybe I'm not remembering right, thats why Im wondering if yall have seen them. Memories are a little sketchy, plus I had 7 small plants and only took out 4 to the main spot, so maybe I dont remember which had these things.

Anywho, Jorge should be taken lightly, hes a genius,but if you think a plant has to be so perfectly tended to that you make that kinda bible, youve forgotten why its called weed. Pros confuse me, I want to grow to not spend money on bud, not spend thousands to raise it like a human!!
