Is Lollipopping Beneficial and Will It Increase Yield?

I've read mixed reviews on lollipopping and I'm not sure if I should do it or not nd whether or not it will be beneficial and increase yield.

Hey there! This is the first grow I've done where I have completely left my plant alone and didn't defoliate at all, and it actually looks like I am going to get a MUCH larger yield! This grow has completely changed my mind about lolipopping, I don't think I will be doing it any longer. And just for the record, this is probably my 12th grow, give or take.

Depends on your set-up. Are you doing a scrog? Growing trees? Indoor/outdoor grow? How big are the plants?

I think you just answered your own question: "mixed reviews".

Indoor tent 2400 watt LED grow in organic amended soil, and using complete Humboldt Organic Line. In week 3 of veg. Going a total of 9 weeks veg then flipping. All different strains.

Lollipopping won't increase the yield per plant. What it allows you to do is pack more plants into the area.

But if you have 1 plant, it will lose yield if you lollipop it.

Canopy control in general is the key to high yields in doors whether it be topping, mainlinging, lollipopping, or some combination that allows to get an even canopy.

Thank you, that is awesome info and exactly what I was looking for.
